Praemo is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Mining & Metals Sales. The primary responsibility will be to develop and close sales opportunities in the Mining & Metals vertical. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will also work closely with Praemo leadership to grow market share.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned quota within your given vertical by selling Praemo’s Razor™ Technology

  • Participate with Chief Revenue Officer to develop and execute the sales strategy for new accounts in Mining & Metals Sector.

  • Maintain pipeline progress and forecast accuracy, and opportunity progression via CRM.

  • Coordinate and execute sales forecasting, planning and budgeting process.

  • Define and communicate product value proposition to customers.

  • Support all sales activities in preparing scope of work documents, proposals, sales strategy including direct involvement with key customers.

  • Gather, interpret and communicate customer, competitive and market information to Praemo leadership.

  • Identify and pre-qualify business opportunities.

Performance Measures:

  • Achievement of sales, profit and strategic objectives of Praemo for Mining & Metals vertical.

  • Accountable for the on-time implementation of sales plans, forecasts and budgets.

  • Accountable for longer term implementation and yearly SaaS revenue from clients.

  • Develop and maintain pipeline value of 5x yearly sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Mining & Metals Industry experience and success in similar role.

  • Proven performance in sales position in technology-based Mining & Metals sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute revenue-building sales strategies including value-based selling.

  • Knowledge in application of AI and or Machine Learning, IoT / M2M solutions or of MES / Automation solutions.

  • A proven track record of high performance, rapidly generating sales revenue.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies, plans and pipelines.

  • Excellent presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Technical knowledge of Mining & Metals operations, communications, monitoring, data capture systems and integration into process control systems and data historians,.

  • Degree or history of relevant industry experience

  • Minimum 7 years applicable experience
